Solar Kingdom was formed in 2009 as a specialist designer and installer of solar technologies by Peter Randall. Peter has a wealth of experience in building renovation, maintenance and development. He has a real passion for solar, plus keen interest in energy saving and building efficiency. His early career was spent in the motor industry working with manufacturers and importers, in customer facing roles and quality assurance.

He takes great pride in a company offering a professional service to its customers, and firmly believes in regulation of the solar industry to ensure they can have confidence in the service offered. He has been interviewed by BBC Scotland, spoken at conferences, and is a recognised expert in his field.

"We offer expert advice, with no hard sell. If we don't believe that solar would be suitable for you, we'll tell you, and explain why. We dislike pushy sales people as much as anyone as we know they are unnecessary if the proposal is right for the customer. We will provide all the information necessary for you to make an informed and reasoned decision about the best solar installation for your property, your needs and your budget".

Other services provided by Solar Kingdom include maintenance and repair of existing installations for both Solar PV and Solar thermal. Consultancy is provided to public and private sector organisations on matters relating to solar technologies and associated areas. An Expert Witness Report service is also available.

As well as being accredited under the robust standards of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, Solar Kingdom is a proud member of the Solar Trade Association, the leading voice for solar in the UK. Solar Kingdom is also a member of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code, an assurance and consumer code for renewable energy customers that promotes high standards and ethical trading.

Peter first installed solar on his own properties in Edinburgh and Cairngorms National Park. Customers can be assured that Solar Kingdom only installs solar equipment we would be happy using on own properties, and that all installations are carried out to the highest possible standards.
